Although all this stuff about money, the stock market, the housing market, etc. doesn't really concern me, I still keep an eye on it to see how this will play out. I see something on the surface that I feel most people don't realize....this bailout comes courtesy of the FEDERAL RESERVE SYSTEM. Most people think that name means 'U.S. Government', but the reality is IT DOES NOT!! The Federal Reserve system are the large banks that deal with all the currency flowing throughout the smaller banks. The FRS is NOT OPERATED by the U.S. GOVERNMENT, it is operated by a group of BANKERS!! Do some web surfing and you'll find the history of the FRS and find out that the FRS is really running the government, because they control the 'fiat' currency. So, this bailout is only allowing even MORE CONTROL by the FRS to have it's 'fingers' in more people's 'pie'. Or maybe I should use the term 'sheeple'?
Why is this happening? Because the sheeple, who have not used the brains in their heads, have been led down the garden path, through the use of CREDIT. As soon as you borrow money, you become ENSLAVED to the owner of the credit until its paid off. C'mon, you know the reality....the bank that holds your MORTGAGE is the one that REALLY owns your home!!! This reality is coming quite clear to many, as the foreclosure signs start popping up in front yards all over the U.S.
BUT....THIS IS WHAT AMERICA IS ASKING FOR!!!! How do I come to that conclusion? You want to take GOD OUT OF THE COUNTRY. 'In God we trust' is the biggest joke phrase of this nation now. No prayer in school, no ten commandments in our courts(not that they ENFORCED the ten commandments to begin with)....I could go on and on. By the way, one of His commandments found in both the old AND NEW testaments, concerns being a LENDER and not a BORROWER. Remember what Yahshua said about 'It is better to GIVE than RECEIVE'?
The time is now at hand that what little you really have will be taken from you. But you can depend on your gOD, the god of money, to try to bail you out.
I mentioned at the beginning that I am not concerned with all these things happening....here is why: I have been blessed by God to have been given warnings that these things would happen. I sold my home, have wiped out all but one small debt(which I only became aware of this year), which will be paid in full in one months time, and I have NO CREDIT CARDS. I have very few belongings, most of which I can carry on my back if need be. I go where I need to go, and I can tell you....it is very liberating.

A commentary on the 'bailout'
Some friends emailed the following, and you will find it on the above link. I thought it was really funny in a sad sort of way. But very true....
An Editorial from the Bettendorf News:
Crime May Not Pay, But Criminal Incompetence Seems To
Wayne Marshall
An Open Letter to the Secretary of the Treasury, Mr. Henry Paulson:
Dear Mr. Secretary:
Please forward the necessary paperwork so that I may apply for a government bailout. After the past six months watching various major corporations and certain individuals receive federal relief and assistance due to poor decision-making, fiduciary misconduct, irresponsibility and outright fraud, I have concluded that my personal experience deserves equal consideration.
Note that I have not arrived at this determination lightly, but first consulted an economist friend who admitted he needed a good laugh.
I will provide complete details along with the formal application, but here are a few examples of the misfortune I have encountered because of my own stupidity:
1. When I refinanced my mortgage three years ago, I foolishly chose to keep all the equity in my home. Therefore, the remaining balance is comparatively small and the monthly payments not especially arduous. Obviously this was a serious financial mistake. Had I realized that your agency would eventually be willing to relieve me of any responsibility for liquidating my loan, I would have refinanced at 120% of value at zero monthly interest, then used the proceeds to purchase outright a condo in Aruba or some other locale without extradition.
2. Similarly, I am not upside-down on my auto loan, and in fact have only a few payments remaining before I own the Ford pickup outright. While this sensible vehicle has served me admirably, again I did not exercise good judgment in my choice of transportation. Instead, I should have obtained a gigantic home equity loan, and be driving a Porsche Cayman on which my fellow citizens could now make the payments.
3. Besides the above-mentioned domicile and some savings, my personal fortune is essentially limited to a pension and a small 401(k). This is because my financial advisor (basically me) persisted in a fiscally-conservative methodology and avoided serious risks. True, this investment scheme was primarily dictated by my perceived lack of disposable income, but as a consequence I have lost very little in the current market correction, fluctuation, or whatever other term is appropriate. Nonetheless, I feel this plainly demonstrates my exceedingly poor judgment. A more reckless approach relying extensively on short-selling, mortgage-backed securities and other worthless paper would have created a portfolio the envy of any Lehman Brothers or Merrill Lynch analyst, yet my future finances and retirement would have remained secure. All I needed to do was rely on the succor of my government.
As you can see Mr. Secretary, while I would appear to be by no means destitute, I have missed numerous opportunities to attain significant wealth and affluence. Had I chosen differently, ignoring both laws and common sense, I might now be able to seek your aid directly through the programs you have already announced. In the absence of one directed toward my circumstances, I ask you to devise another to account for those who weren‘t incompetent, devious, or lucky enough to act in a manner now making front-page headlines.
Perhaps my staid, responsible behavior indicates a defective integrity gene which would qualify as some sort of fiscal handicap. Could I then be covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act?
I anxiously await your reply.
Sincerely,Wayne Marshall

The 'G' word
I'm beginning to see a connection with evils of this world with the letter 'G'.
'Gestapo' is one....like the tactics used by our government to other nations.
'Gas' is another one. I heard stories on the news where gas prices went up past $5 a gallon(maybe $8 in some places?)BEFORE hurricane Ike blew through Texas. That is ABSOLUTELY WRONG in so many ways. Which leads us to another 'g'....
'GREED', see above. The greed of the rich is actually going to bring this country down, and it's happening already. Of course, for those of us who are in the ranks of the poor, it will actually bring us up, as it brings THEM down. Eventually, no amount of money is going to save you.
'Government bailout'...I know, I'm cheating a bit on this 'g'. Read an article about the buyout of Freddie Mac and Fannie May, two of the biggest mortgage holders in the U.S. But this does not benefit 'joe citizen' of this country, it helps THE CHINESE. They hold about 40% of the DEBT of this country. So it bails THEM out more than us. Maybe that is a 'right' thing though....shouldn't we be responsible for our own debt? There will come a day, and perhaps it is now, when the tags 'Made in China' and 'Made in the U.S.A.' will become blurred.
I leave this 'g' word for last in this post, because it is the last thing on the list of most people these days....
GOD
Most people think they are fine 'doing it on their own'. But they don't realize....they haven't done it on their own AT ALL. God has turned His back on us, but He's about to turn around, and it is only the PURE THINGS He can look upon. So, better make sure you're on the right path, and have not declared yourself god.

There is good to be had...but where?
Well, I'm on a roll now, so I might as well just keep going....
Hopefully, I will be able to balance this blog with the good, as well as the bad. I'm an equal opportunity loud mouth.
SO....I saw a story the other day about gas prices. I know...who hasn't? This one has some good in it. Because of the rising costs of fuel, many schools across the nation are cutting back on some of their school bus service by cutting stops within 2 miles of school. I think this is a great idea for a number of reasons:
1)It will help reduce emissions, as well as fuel consumption.
2)It will get some of our OBESE youth, who have been sitting on their butts playing PS3's to actually get some exercise.
3)...which will also get them to realize that SOMETIMES IT RAINS! or SNOWS! Having to walk in the weather once in a while is GOOD FOR YOU.
There is one problem, however the cause of all this eliminates it as well....PARENTS DRIVING THEM TO SCHOOL. Again, fuel costs, but this time the parent has to take the hit.
One could also speculate something else....child predators. But the solution is also a good thing.
At least in metropolitan areas, find parents/neighbors to be neighborhood watch people. All they need is a half hour and a cell phone. Within the 2 mile radius of a school, have people volunteer in the morning or afternoon during school start and end times, to be posted on corners. I'm sure most communities will have some retirees more than willing to stand(or even sit on a lawn chair)to do community watches for students walking home.
One of the things Americans seem to have forgotten.....LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR LIKE YOURSELF. This requires GIVING, and in this case, its just giving of some time. WATCH OUT FOR EACH OTHER....what a concept, eh????

Shameless parents
I was going to start this blog the other night, after watching the semi-shameless 'America's Got Talent' tv show.(I rather hate watching tv, but when you're REALLY BORED, your brain must go somewhere.) This show is really near the top of my hate list(I know...'then why the hell are you watching it'? I'm somewhat forced to...no I won't go into details). Anyway, my top of the list is 'American Idol'. No one is an 'idol', I don't care if the person can sing, dance, and do walking-in-air tricks like Criss Angel, all at the same time.
But here is the shameless part.....KAITLYN MAHER. This is, I'm sure, a very sweet little girl, at least that is her stage presence. I'm not against that. I am against dragging this little 4 year old girl in front of millions of viewers, to which EVERYONE KNOWS EVENTUALLY she is going to LOSE! She cannot perform in Las Vegas, isn't this one of the parameters of the show???? She needs to be doing what 4 year olds do....appearing in funny family home videos!! I really wonder what the psyche of people has been reduced to.
Maybe this is her parents way to provide for their child??? In case you haven't caught the fine print, the $1 million prize is actually an annuity paid over 40 YEARS(I'll help...thats $25k a year), unless they choose to take the prize at that time, a one-shot cash payout.(Sorry I don't know what that payout is).
I guess the other reason why this show is on the top of my hate list is because everyone has talent for SOMETHING. Maybe that talent is not 'entertaining the masses', maybe that talent is to be able to LOVE SOMEONE when they are unloveable. To me, that is the greatest talent there is. And it's also something seriously lacking in this country.
